Running to Stand Still

I’m getting there, folks. Got home from Back to School Night and worked on a draft. Everyone in the house is asleep and we all have to get up and do it again in 6 hours. My eyes are closing against my will. My dinner, eaten too late, sits like a lump in my guts. My racing mind is out of sync with my collapsing body. Luckily, my hair looks fantastic.

See you tomorrow

School’s in!

Pringles and I both have colds. Odie has been assigned four AP classes. I’m exhausted. I’m achey. I’m a working mom. My high school English classes are promising, but we need a lot of work. I’m rusty as an old porch swing. Your persistence will be rewarded. Let me get my feet under me, and I’ll be back to my old tricks.

Which of these was a complex sentence?

Occupational hazard.
